Resilience & Resolute, two R’s that are need of the hour..

Humanity is facing one of it’s toughest times in history. Over several centuries our forebears have witnessed several pandemics and epidemics, but nothing of this magnitude. We have witnessed several cataclysmic events ranging from Wars, drought, plague, great depression etc.

All of these have been caused by a variety of reasons ranging from Man Made to natural and a combination of both. We have always come out stronger in the end.

Given the connected and globalized tenacity of the world that we are in today, the effects have rippled across nations and communities irrespective of their role and part in it’s creation. This is part and parcel of Globalization. When we reap the benefits of connectivity and a globalized economy, there isn’t any point in indicting charges against one another at this critical juncture.

The COVID-19 pandemic has proved once again that how primitive we still are, in spite of all the technological advancements and medical science. Even the might of all such digital transformation and technology that we boast upon aren’t even close to what the nature has in store for us. We can never ride on laurels, that too not against the nature. The universe keeps proving us who the boss is from time to time, through one event or the other. This is one other reason why we can’t take the nature for granted and be a spoil sport.

This isn’t the time for us to be polarized on our ideologies and geographies. Humanity has to act in unison as a single element and fight against this deadly virus, which is depriving many of their loved and dear ones.

The sorry state, that we witness with the bereaved ones are no sight to sore eyes. We see how families have lost their loved ones in an instant and their lives changing dramatically overnight.

This is the best time to prove that Humanity still exists in spite of all the polarization and as divided as we might feel and believe.

We have to transcend boundaries, ideologies and our personal affiliations towards combatting a common goal of eradicating this virus from the face of our world and bring about a better tomorrow. Let’s use this deadly virus as a harbinger for a new tomorrow, where humanity is working towards a collective good and not personal self interest.

Let’s take a momentarily pause on what the Governments and the International Councils are doing or not doing. If we Humanity as a whole work collectively for one another, oblivious to what they do, they have to descend to what we have to say.

We all have to get together with a strong “Resolute & Resilience” to overcome this situation and come out stronger on the other end of the aisle with a changed world at least from the public perspective.

Imagine such an utopian future, wherein there are no more boundaries other than administrative purposes. Such will be the power of Humanity’s collective thinking. The world will be a much better place, when people stop thinking about themselves and start thinking and feel concerned for everyone around them. Let’s strike out all the foreboding this virus has created and eliminate all kinds of apprehensions and anxiety.

We need to have a strong belief, that everything happens for a reason and purpose, time and again history has proved the same to us. Let us all develop some amount of forbearance to those things that are happening around us, things that we can’t have any control over, for that it’s not going to last longer and going to bring a seismic shit in our attitude and thinking, if we start practicing a sense of empathy and selflessness.

When we develop these attitude, we are going to witness a new kind of Humanity, one we haven’t witnessed in this Globalized world as a placebo effect.

Let’s foretell collectively that this is the time, that changed Humanity altogether.

Let’s spread the word and stand together with those who are bereaving and everyone around us.

Let’s find Humanity in Humans!!!
